One of these numbers is a floor.
The other is a ceiling.

Groverow

No capHoldings the free tier will hold

Nothing you enter is ever hidden from you. There is no hidden-row state in the code to hide it with.

Forward mathWhat the subscription buys

A 12-month calendar, yield, IRR and growth. The rows themselves were never for sale.

  • CSV presets for Schwab, Fidelity, Robinhood and Vanguard, on the free tier
  • Taxable, IRA and 401(k) roll up into one book without double-counting
  • No account to make, and no ads — a red line in the spec, not a current plan
  • Quotes are Tiingo, 15 minutes delayed, and say so on every screen
Open the dividend calculator

Cancel and the book does not close. Every row you typed is still on the screen the next morning, and the CSV and JSON buttons still work, because those run on your device and not behind the invoice. Grow is $79.99 a year and it only ever bought the forward math.

The capped tracker you are on

5–8Holdings the free tier will hold

Re-cut from 15, and applied to people who had already signed up.

Your own rowsWhat the subscription buys

“Extra assets are just hidden.” Two products in this category say it in their own help documentation. That is their wording, not ours.

  • Rows above the cap vanish from view until you resubscribe
  • Importing your history sits behind the same wall as the cap
  • The cross-account total is the paid part; three accounts, three caps
  • Forced interstitials on at least one free tier in this group

Both panels come from the public pricing and help pages of the dividend trackers we could buy and read on 2026-08-03: Delta, DivTracker, Snowball Analytics, Stock Events and Simply Wall St among them. Quoted wording is theirs, not ours. If any of them changes its terms, write to support@groverow.app and these two panels change.

The founding contract

Three nevers. And no account.

Most dividend apps put a fence around your own entries. Groverow was priced from day one so it never has to — the fence is around the math, never around your records.

01

Never hidden

Everything you enter stays visible. No limits, no lockouts — no cap on holdings, portfolios, or accounts, and nothing fades with time.

02

Never clawed back

The Free tier terms on the day you sign up stay yours permanently. Free tiers only ever gain features — existing users are never downgraded.

03

Never held hostage

Your data is exportable, free, forever — even if you cancel. CSV and JSON export runs locally on your device, with no sign-in wall in front of it.

04

No account needed

Everything works on this device: entering, viewing, exporting, delayed quotes. An account only exists if you one day turn on sync.

What it does

A ledger first. The math when you want it.

One book across accounts

Taxable, IRA, 401(k) — every account lives in the same ledger, with its own facts and its own currency. Unlimited portfolios and accounts.

Free · unlimited

A calendar of real money

US dividend calendar with ex-date and pay-date in a month view, a received ledger, and running totals for this month and this year.

Free · everything already paid

Forward math, on demand

12-month forward income calendar, projected monthly and annual income, annualized yield and IRR, diversification slices, growth analysis.

Grow · the paid tier

How it works

Three steps to the first answer.

1

Enter your holdings

Type them in by hand, or import a CSV with presets for the major US brokers. Import is free.

2

See coming and landed

The moment your first holding is in, the next dividend appears. Upcoming payments stay green — still growing. Money that arrived turns gold and gets stamped.

3

Add Grow when you want the projections

The ledger, the calendar of what already happened, and the export are free forever. Grow adds the forward-looking math. Cancel any time; keep the records.

The reading experience

Made to be read like a statement.

Quotes are delayed 15 minutes and say so, always on screen. No blinking fake-real-time tickers, no ads, no noise.

August calendar in the Groverow app. Subtitle: current month on Free, 12-month forward on Grow. In the month grid, the 15th is marked gold with a dot. Below the grid, one payment: O, pay Aug 15, ex Aug 1, $260.00, stamped Received.
Dividend calendarThe day the money landed is marked, and the payment sits right under the grid. The screen itself says what Free covers and what Grow adds.
Groverow ledger grouped by month. August: $260.00 received, one row from O on Aug 15. July: $260.00 received, one row from O on Jul 15. June: $1,303.43 received, four rows — SCHD $54.03 on Jun 29, SCHY $840.00 on Jun 27, O $260.00 on Jun 15, MSFT $149.40 on Jun 12. Every row carries a Received stamp.
Received ledgerEvery payment that landed, grouped by month, subtotalled and stamped. Free keeps the whole record — and the CSV export.

Real captures from the iOS app — cropped, never redrawn. The portfolio is demo data; the numbers are whatever the app computed from it.

Pricing

Free keeps the record. Grow buys the math.

Free is not a trial and not a funnel. It is the ledger you keep for life, with or without us.

“The ledger stays yours.”

Everything you've entered is visible and exportable on Free — forever. Cancel and you lose the math, never the record.

If Grow endsWhat happens
Your recordsStay. Every holding, transaction, and received dividend remains fully readable — no lock icons, no hidden rows.
Your exportStays free. CSV and JSON export works locally on your device, with no sign-in wall. Forever.
Your Free termsStay fixed. The Free tier is versioned to your signup day — it only ever gains, never shrinks.
The projectionsPause. Forward calendars, yield math, and analytics stop calculating until you resubscribe. That is the entire difference.

Honest answers

The fine print, in large print.

Is the Free tier really unlimited?

Yes. No caps on holdings, portfolios, or accounts; no time decay; no ads. “Everything you enter stays visible” is the founding promise of the product, not a promotion we can end. There is no locked-row state anywhere in the code — a pull request that adds one gets rejected on sight.

Why are quotes delayed 15 minutes?

Real-time exchange licensing would multiply the price of the app for everyone. We put the paywall on math, not on speed — and whenever market facts appear, their provider delay appears with them.

Honesty is the brand
What exactly happens if I cancel Grow?

The projections stop. Your records don't. Everything you entered stays readable, and CSV / JSON export stays free and local, forever — no account required to take it.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Entering, viewing, exporting, and delayed quotes all work on-device. An account only enters the picture if you later turn on sync.

Where does the market data come from?

US stocks and ETFs, data sourced by Tiingo. If a dividend record ever looks wrong, every entry has a “Report wrong data” button — corrections go through a human review queue and flow back to all users.

What does Groverow not do?

It never touches your money, never recommends trades, and never holds broker credentials. It is an income ledger and calculator — deliberately on the outside of the brokerage wall.

Still have a question?Ask a human. If more than one person asks it, the answer becomes a new line on this page.
